Desktop Audits

Our desktop audits focus on contractor compliance with industry requirements and will include a complete quality check of all paperwork to ensure it complies with HSE guidance and legislation. Desktop auditing can be carried out during any stage of project work, prior to, during or after. Alternatively a complete audit can be carried out which will include all stages of the work.

Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 places an explicit “duty to manage” on the duty-holder. An important element of this duty is to ensure that there is a “written plan” that sets out in detail how the risks from ACMs will be managed, to take the necessary steps to put the plan into action and to periodically review and monitor the plan and the arrangements to act on it so that the plan remains relevant and up-to-date.

Environtec has a wealth of experience of preparing and developing AMPs and policies and work closely with customers to ensure that documentation is appropriate and tailored to individual organisations’ needs The development of Asbestos Management Plans (AMPs) are based on consultation with customers; gathering information that enables our consultants to develop suitable and sufficient documentation that is tailored to the specific needs of our customers. Key steps to the development of your asbestos management plan:

  • Meeting with you to explain the details of the management plan and its implementation
