
Luke joined Environtec Limited in 2022 as a Water Hygiene Manager. He has worked in the water industry since 2010 and has experience of working in most aspects of water hygiene and treatment. These include consultancy, management, trusted advisory, delivering accredited training courses, auditing, risk assessing, tender writing, project management, remedial tasks, closed-system analysis, water hygiene monitoring and treatment works across a wide range of sectors.
Luke’s current role involves directing management systems and giving strategic guidance and direction to ensure that the water division achieves its objectives. He gains a lot of enjoyment from studying microbiology in water and aims to become an IHEEM registered Authorising Engineer. To date he has achieved qualifications in many different areas, ranging from water hygiene in healthcare settings to water treatment in steam boilers and closed systems. He has also been awarded the NEBOSH National General Certification in Occupational Health & Safety and the NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management. Living in Kent with his wife and child, Luke enjoys spending time with his son, going on adventures and taking part in activities such as music and longboarding.
