Opportunities within Environtec

We’re very proud to have so many stories of people having joined our company either as trainees or industry-skilled individuals who have worked their way up the ladder through internal training and additional qualifications.

On the trainee side of things, Environtec has so many stories of staff who came from all different walks of life and for one reason or another, decided to change/enhance their career path. Some of our most experienced staff were previously bar workers, in our armed forces, payroll clerks, TV aerial engineers – the list goes on. This includes some of the Directors (quite a few years ago).

We always tell anyone who joins Environtec, this is a company where you can progress, if:-

Commercial Director Paul Shaw said, “we love to see ambitious individuals joining our company and wanting to start a career with us. I was that trainee analyst 25 years ago but you get out what you put in. It’s about putting yourself in the right place at the right time and being ready to step up when the opportunity comes along. It’s easy to jump ship for an extra £1k here or there, someone will always promise you something extra but sometimes it pays to play the long game. Be patient and if you commit to us, we’ll commit to you”.

Environtec also likes to see trained staff enhance their skill set and gain additional industry qualifications or move into other divisions within the business. We have that flexibility where cross-training can work. We have an excellent external training department which allows us to support our own staff as well.
