Safe Working Practices
The Health and Safety Display Screen Equipment course explains in detail how to work safely to minimise the risks from display screen equipment including step by step guides to setting up the workstation and various components of the computer and how to use laptops effectively. It also gives the employee advice on how to plan their workload and some exercises that they can do at their desk to reduce strain.
A short assessment of 5 questions is included in the Health and Safety Display Screen Equipment course. A pass mark of 80% is required to complete the course.
This eLearning module will take a typical employee approximately 30 minutes to complete. On successful completion of the course each delegate is provided with a Certificate.
To complete the courses, users will require a browser with the Adobe Flash plug-in. We recommend the following desktop environment:

- A sound card / audio ability
