Environtec have demonstrated substantial growth in recent years, rapidly expanding the water business across the UK, managing clients with multiple sites in a number of markets across the UK.

We are now seeking a Legionella Risk assessor and the ideal applicant will already have a solid background in water management and be able to work independently when required. This role will provide valuable experience if you are looking to progress your career, which could lead to the opportunity to grow and develop an office and team with the support and training Environtec provide.

Duties: This position will be based out of the Environtec Newcastle office and duties will include:

  • Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments and other associated control scheme tasks in line with HSG274 and L8.
  • Undertake remedial works such as tank cleaning and disinfecting and other associated remedial works
  • Produce formal quotations for legionella associated works requested by new and existing clients.
  • Assist BDMs with legionella technical information and quotations
  • Have input into key decisions on the development of the northern region in regards to staffing, recruitment and equipment.
  • Help to grow on existing clients and establish the legionella department in the northern region to be able to deliver all aspects of water management.
  • Minimum of 4 years previous experience conducting Legionella Risk Assessments
  • Minimum of 2 years remedials experience inc CWST C&D, TMV servicing and insulation.
  • Experience in client management and meetings
  • Must be able to calculate and produce formal quotations
  • Self-driven and able to work alone
  • Full UK Driving license
  • Plumbing experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Be able to travel and stay away when required
