ASBESTOS CONSULTANT (ANALYST) – ESSEX

LOCATION: HATFIELD PEVEREL, ESSEX

Due to an expanding workload, we are recruiting for a qualified asbestos analyst to form part of our team covering the South of England. The role is based in our Hatfield Peverel office, near Chelmsford.

Hours of Work:	40 Hours per week

Experience / Qualifications	BOHS P403 Asbestos Fibre Counting and BOHS P404 Air Sampling of Asbestos is essential Previous demonstrable air-monitoring experience within the asbestos industry Familiarity of working for a UKAS accredited company Experience of using hand held data collectors is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
Duties:	Carrying out asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances and re-occupation and personal air testing Monitoring contractors on site ensuring that they adhere to Asbestos and Health and Safety procedures Liaising on a daily basis with clients, contractors and their representatives as well as members of the public Other duties as requested by the Analytical Manager to help and support the office growth
Requirements:	A full UK driving licence Excellent written and verbal communication and client facing skills The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team A good eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure Flexible (some out of hours and weekend work will apply) The desire to maximise full potential through further training and site based experience
